Project Development Specialist

Job Description

1. Project Development
  • Identify and propose real estate investment opportunities (urban areas, residential, office, commercial, etc.)

  • Conduct market research; analyze project feasibility and investment efficiency

  • Participate in preparing investment proposals and pre-feasibility/feasibility study reports

  • Coordinate with relevant departments (investment, finance, planning, legal, etc.) during project development

  • Develop and draft internal procedures and templates under the Business Development Department

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Investment Planning Department

2. Project Legal Procedures
  • Handle legal procedures for projects from preparation to implementation stages, including:

    • Investment policy approval

    • Planning approvals (1/500 detailed planning, planning adjustments)

    • Land allocation/lease and land-use conversion

    • Construction permits

    • Other legal procedures in accordance with regulations

  • Work directly with government authorities: Department of Planning and Investment (DPI), Department of Construction (DOC), Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE), People’s Committees at various levels, etc.

  • Monitor legal progress and update changes in relevant laws and regulations

3. Documentation Management & Coordination
  • Manage and systematically archive project legal documents

  • Control the progress of tasks related to project development

  • Work with consultants (planning, design, legal, etc.) to ensure compliance of documentation

  • Participate in negotiations and work with partners and landowners (when required)

4. Other Duties

Perform other tasks as required by the Head of Business Development Department

 

Required

Age: 25-35

Level:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following majors:

  • Civil & Industrial Construction / Architecture / Construction Engineering
  • Law
  • Or related fields (urban planning, real estate, construction economics, etc.)

 

Skills and knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with real estate developers
  • Direct experience in developing primary-level projects or Grade A projects in Hanoi
  • Strong understanding of real estate legal procedures in Vietnam, especially in Hanoi
  • Candidates who have been involved in the full legal lifecycle of at least one project
  • Candidates with strong working relationships with local government authorities in Hanoi
  • Experience working with major developers or large-scale urban projects
  • Ability to read and understand planning documents, legal documents, and technical drawings

 

Other requirements and qualities:

  • Solid knowledge of:
    • Investment Law
    • Land Law
    • Construction Law
    • Real Estate Business Law
  • Ability to work with government authorities
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and reporting skills
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); AutoCAD is an advantage
