QS Engineer

Job Description

  • Control and manage construction costs of new projects based on the approved Total Investment and cost estimates.

  • Manage and control during the preparation of the Total Investment and cost estimates for submission to management for approval.

  • Coordinate in developing cost management, payment, and settlement procedures for projects.

  • Manage quantities and costs of project packages to ensure they do not exceed the approved estimates.

  • Review and submit advance payment and settlement documents for project packages.

  • Control arising costs during project implementation to ensure they do not exceed the approved Total Investment.

  • Collect and analyze quotations from similar projects and suppliers to serve appraisal and price approval.

  • Participate in contractor selection, including: compiling and submitting lists of qualified contractors, preparing requests for proposals and bidding documents, evaluating bids, preparing contracts, and participating in negotiations.

  • Implement settlement of project packages.

  • Participate in auditing the final settlement of completed projects.

  • Develop schedules for tasks related to construction activities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Management.

Age: 28–35

Gender: Male/Female

Level:

  • University degree in Construction Economics.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

  • Ability to work independently with domestic and international contractors and partners.

  • Good command of technical English and communication is an advantage.

  • Preference for candidates with experience working at construction developer companies.

 

Skills and knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of construction management, bidding, and relevant legal regulations.

  • Wide professional network in the construction/real estate investment industry.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills with flexibility and effectiveness.

  • Ability to work independently and under high pressure.
