In response to the complex aftermath of Typhoon No. 3—Yagi, OSI Holdings (Orient Success International Investment JSC.) demonstrated its corporate social responsibility by supporting the Bac Tu Liem District Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search & Rescue. The company contributed 13 emergency field tents, each covering 30m², to aid in disaster prevention efforts.

A representative from the Bac Tu Liem District Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search & Rescue, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Ngà, Head of the District’s Economic Department, received the donation from OSI Holdings (Orient Success International Investment JSC.), represented by Ms. Nguyễn Bạch Nhật, General Director of Administration and Human Resources.

 

In recent days, the heavy rainfall has caused the water levels in major rivers, including the Red River, to rise rapidly. The water level of the Red River flowing through Bac Tu Liem District, which includes the four wards of Thượng Cát, Liên Mạc, Thụy Phương, and Đông Ngạc, surpassed the first warning level, reaching over 10.5 meters and continuing to rise by 10cm per hour.

 

In response, Orient Success International Investment JSC. Swiftly coordinated with the Bac Tu Liem District’s Disaster Prevention Committee to purchase and install 13 emergency field tents at critical points along the Red River’s embankments on September 10, 2024. These tents were strategically placed in vulnerable areas to ensure quick and timely response in case of embankment issues, ensuring the safety of residents.

 

Disaster prevention efforts are urgent and must be organized as an official civil defense activity. Therefore, they require the collective effort of all local forces, businesses, and organizations operating within the district. It is essential to assign specific responsibilities, mobilize human resources, and ensure equipment and tools are available for emergencies.
